Maha Bhetra is a Thai-crafted wooden hull motor boat based in the Andaman Sea, built to the standards of architect and designer Ed Tuttle of Aman Resorts.
Maha Behtra focuses on the southern islands of Thailand and can accommodate up to six people for a private voyage in utmost comfort
The Surin Islands, near the Burmese border; the Similan Islands, just northwest of Phuket; and the Bunting archipelago, off the Malay Peninsula, are all worth visiting.
Up to six visitors can be accommodated in Maha Bhetra's three identical double rooms, each with air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, and closets.
The modern interiors of Maha Bhetra have a neutral palette with genuine elements such as 18th-century Southeast Asian antiques. The old and contemporary collide seamlessly in the saloon, where custom-designed louvered cupboards conceal sound systems and glassware, while tiger-patterned carpets adorn the bedrooms.
Air conditioning, snorkeling and diving equipment, four kayaks, two paddleboards, a sailing dingy, and a rib for exploring onshore are all available onboard.
