Alila Purnama

Alila Purnama (meaning "Full Moon"), an elegant 46-metre two-masted wooden sailing yacht, was launched in 2012, embracing the group's key ideals of style, sustainability, and exquisite service. Alila Purnama is one of the most opulent liveaboards in the region, built in a traditional design evocative of the renowned Bugis seamen who controlled Indonesia's waves in the 17th century. Imagine sailing on calm seas under the full moon's light  and waking up to brilliant blue waters, jungle-clad peaks, and immaculate white sand beaches. Depending on where you travel, you may spend the day looking for Komodo Dragons, diving or snorkeling in crystal clear seas teeming with colorful marine life, or docking next to a deserted beach for a seafood feast.

Alila Purnama cruises across Indonesia, with a concentration on the magnificent Komodo National Park and the 1,500 islands of Raja Ampat, as well as lengthier excursions through Ambon and the Banda Islands, renowned as the original Spice Islands. Alila Purnama's historical façade contrasts with contemporary interior design, which extends throughout her 5 exquisite rooms. The stunning master cabin is located above deck and features wraparound windows with 270-degree views of the changing scenery, a private balcony with a big patio and daybed, and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and two washbasins. The remaining four suites are elegantly decorated, with a queen-size bed, double closets, a writing desk, and an en-suite bathroom.

A big bar and lounge space connects to an indoor dining room on board, and there is also a well equipped library. The eco-friendly furniture was handcrafted using locally obtained materials such as rattan and teak.

There is plenty of deck space outside for sunbathing and lounging in the shade on giant daybeds. Furthermore, Alila Purnama's specialized onboard spa therapist is available at all times to provide passengers with a relaxing massage.

The ship boasts its own PADI accredited dive center with Nitrox, diving and snorkeling equipment, fishing gear, two-person sea kayaks, water skis, tow toys, and SUP (stand-up paddle) boards, so the options are infinite for the adventurous. The cruise director may also assist you in planning activities such as volcanic hiking tours and candlelight dinners beneath the stars.
